Maeva Studio was born from a passion for luxurious manicures and beautiful jewelry, founded by Elke Karimi - de Smit.

At the end of 2021, I opened my nail salon and started offering luxury manicures. However, I found it a great challenge to schedule appointments in addition to being a full-time mother. I also noticed that I could not fully express my creativity. When I wanted to take a photo of the end result of the manicure, I thought it was just as important to include a beautiful piece of jewelry in the photo.

And so I started making and designing jewelry in the evenings. Jewelry that could also be photographed without it distracting too much from the manicure that had just been performed, but that could definitely be seen. But how did I want to expand this further? And what do I actually want? Making jewelry? Continue to perform manicures?

After many hours of brainstorming, making jewelry, working out ideas and, above all, wanting anything and everything, I came to the conclusion; Maeva Studio will be a place and brand where all my creative ideas and elaborations come together and I can share what I want and what I really support.

And so, in 2023, Maeva Studio was launched as an ever-growing shop full of unique, luxurious, elegant and handmade jewelry (and actually much more).

We have a carefully selected range that we are very proud of. We use high-quality materials to ensure that your handmade jewelry lasts a long time.

During the further development of Maeva Studio, one thing was at the top; the sustainability of the brand.

We try to do everything we can to make Maeva Studio as sustainable as possible. We use high-quality materials because we want you to be able to wear your jewelry beautifully for as long as possible.

In addition, we work together with Eden Reforestation Projects (read more here ), we try to send everything as a letterbox package, we try to use as little plastic packaging material as possible and we are always open to new ideas.
